Software Testing
I provide black box testing for web-based applications and installed software. All applications are tested on both PC and Mac operating systems, and in multiple web browsers or client-server systems as appropriate. I test your application against the developer spec. If you do not have a spec, I write one based on your requirements, and then test against it. Types of testing offered:
- Usability testing
- Pairwise testing
- Equivalence partitioning
- Boundary value analysis
In simpler terms, I provide feedback on the following questions:
- Does the software do what it's expected to do?
- Can a typical user understand how to use it?
- Does it handle unexpected user actions gracefully?
- Do critical functions continue to work correctly even when new features are added?
